Adventures outside Paris. . .ish.

What was surreptitiously decided to be a short day trip to Vernon/Giverny, gateway to Claude Monet enthusiasts and Japanese tourists, gradually became a long ordeal of missed stops, missed trains, back & forths, harrassements, and blistering cold weather. But at the end of the day, all we could do was laugh and sleep early without complaint, because the Sun still came out, & the day was still beautiful.

Still 5 years old :)

Petty little thieves.

She's so silly.

These little babies went into our Sunday dinner dessert!

Contre-jour

The Seine behind me

We took the train to Vernon, and then rented bikes to Giverny from there.
It rained on the way back for about 10 minutes & I felt as though I was riding through an ocean of ice.

Like my dress?
hehe.
10 euro, Parisian thrift store ;P

C'est dommage, il fait froid tous le jours.

À demain!
