New Year's Eve

What seems to be an annual night of what can only be accurately described as indecisive but unavoidable sh*t and circumstance, turned out this year to be, well, not that bad. I had braved a visit to the Brea mall in the afternoon, pushing through mobs of bargain hungry pre-teens and their reluctant mothers, and stopping by the GAP to visit Courtney and her rain-appreciating coworker ;) , only to realize that she was dealing with these mobs firsthand. Admitting defeat, I left for Sprouts and another trip to Trader Joe's, & then began the arduous and daunting task of homemade hors d'oeuvres with the agile help of Amanda.
