Brioche St. Génies & Milk bread

I LOVEEEE BRIOCHE ST. GÉNIES.
Why it's so hard to track down in Parisian bakeries?
I don't know.
But that doesn't stop me from getting some in my belly.
I purchased some pink praline almonds from G. Detou, an independent baking épicier type store within the Marais and brought some over in hopes of replicating this delicious treat :)
Well this quarter I had plenty of time to experiment (okay, so I made time)
and I think they turned out pretty well -- considering I was without dough-hook.

I'm watching Titanic now on television.
I can never make up my mind about this film.
I just have one question:
When Jack & Rose are freezing to death waiting for the rescue boat to come back,
why didn't they just make out to keep the body heat stablized?
