The Waiting Game

This quarter's LCC show was a show of firsts (at least for the duration of how long I've been active). First show at Jan Popper. First show that cost nearly $7,000 furnished by Vietnamese sandwiches. First show (of mine) with G16. First show with keWL tech opportunities & a silent screen. First fully-made up cast & set-pieced stage. First amazing show in a long while, & proud of it! It was a really tough and painful quarter to get through, but I'm glad we got through it all the same. I'm glad for all the sleep I lost (& continue to lose, I might add), the talent displayed, the sheer hard work, and my final performance. . . but who knows?

I've been under Lapu's wing for nearly five (?) quarters and though my investment had waned over the months, I'm glad that I went back. It's sad to be leaving, but so good to be leaving on a great note. (See follow - up sappy banquet post)
