Armistice Day

Today was Armistice day in France. The (however many) anniversary of the end of WWI. But more importantly, NO SCHOOL! I decided to spend this day not contemplating the lives lost, not conjuring ways to further world peace, not honoring the veterans of this nation and ours...but gorging myself on hot chocolate and raising hell with my classmates. Citizen of the year? I think not.

Angelina's. Famous for their African hot chocolate, the tourists flock here. Located just across from the Tuileries, although pricey, completely and utterly worth it. They also offer hot chocolate to go for half the price and their pastries are decently priced if you do not sit in the tea room.

ohhhhh myyyyyyy Goddddd :)

Our waitress :) Yes, I am creepy.

Wasp's nest.

Ooooo ahhh...

Sam's glorious millefeuille.

We walked through the Tuileries and scavenged the Louvre for a bit. Hooray for being under 25 and a student in France. One has the privilege of free entry for a year into the crowded, loud, and horrifically large fine arts museum.

My two favorite :) People, that is.
