Parc de la Villette: le ciné en plein air

Visiting Paris for 4 consecutive years has made me a rather lazy tourist. I've explored nearly three-quarters of all the arrondissements, but alas the documentation rests in my head. You'd understand if you had to lug around my camera for 3 hours as the 56 pound thing weighs down on your neck and beads of sweat start pouring from your forehead -- with the only good shot being a photo of a beret-wearing dog smoking a cigarette that you paid 2 Euros to take.

Well I thought finally I should probably take some chances given the fact that there are only so many photographs one can take of their drab room (see post below). Luckily on Saturday night, I had an occasion to do so. George and I went to le parc de la Villette to picnic and watch "l'équipée sauvage" or "The Wild One" with Marlon Brando. Apparently, it's Paris's 20th year offering le cinéma en plein air, an activity I first enjoyed with Lauren nearly 2 years ago...

Even though the movie was hilariously bad, George and I had fun eating our smoked salmon, him his Rotisserie chicken in a cup, and me with my bottle of Rosé Limon. Fantastic.
