Morton hears the Chen family

It normally works itself out that I plan Mother's Day and my brother plans Father's Day and my sister Alice just stands around looking pretty and texting us back the night before saying that she can make it. Actually, "planning" is not so much the word... it's usually more like a couple days before we scramble to e-mail each other and come up with something. Improvising? I guess that's better than nothing. Usually Father's Day consists of a hunt for a nice and cheesy tie (poor dads... that's really all they get, isn't it?) and dinner at Souplantation. But Jon decided to jazz it up this year, and we had a lot of fun at Morton's Steakhouse in Anaheim.

The best STEAK Anywhere!
I wouldn't be able to verify this.
But do they mean that you're able to have the best steak literally anywhere in the world?
Or do they mean that they have the best steak out of anywhere?
They really should clarify because it can be kind of confusing and not the best for promoting their allegedly best steaks...

Me & my future sister-in-law. Future, as in, tomorrow!

I think it's kind of sad that some of the best bread I've had has been in restaurants as a freebie. This was really really good bread. Macaroni Grill, and oddly enough, Mimi Café's carrot bread is delicioussssssss...

This salad was really good.
You can't go wrong with crisp lettuce :)

Da family.

Okay Morton's, SO ... if what was most memorable to me was the salad (which was half a head of lettuce drizzled with dressing), and the free bread. . .

you might want to consider paying attention to your seafood.

Love,
The picky pescetarian

Ps. The carrot cake I got for dessert was poop.
