Les cheveux
Dear Readers,
There are precisely 2 things I resort to doing when I am bored.
1. Whine and complain about said boredom
2. Attack my hair with scissors
This was especially a problem back in high school when boredom was the perpetual bane of my existence. So much so that about midway into my junior year of high school, my friend Dayanita and I had to conspire together to willfully steady our scissor-happy hands when boredom struck. It lasted about 2 weeks, until Daya caved in and chopped off her locks. Aye. I've had side bangs, fringe bangs, no bangs, intense bangs, short pixie hair, long hair, layered hair, red hair, blue hair, purple hair, blonde hair, every damn variation in the hair rainbow. As I've begun to grow conscious of the consequences of my creativity, though, (such as the fact that it alters my appearance, ha.) I've begun to mellow out.
Now, I'm bored again. And I don't know what to do. I'm leaving in 2 weeks and I don't know whether to chop off my hair to the usual bob that I've kept for a year or let it grow out for the fall and winter months. If I chop it off, I will have to maintain it while I'm away because it's sure to grow out. Right now it's at this disgusting mid-length with a blunt cut, my bangs are about 8 inches long, and I can't wear it down without looking like a fool. A FOOL, I tell you. The following is a helpful time-line for your reference.
So, I need help. To cut or not to cut? To fringe or to side bang? To color or leave as is? To shave all off?
Awaiting your advice,
