Translation: Good evening. Guess what? I went to Edinburgh. (& loved it)

I traveled up north to Scotland during the first weekend in February to see George.  It had been about two, almost three years since I had seen him and what a reunion it was!  Walking around Edinburgh was like getting into a time machine and traveling back into a medieval village.  I tried not to imagine feces in the street and pigs trodding about.  Sometimes I didn't even need to imagine, though, if you get what I mean.

Though it was a short trip, I was glad that at the end of the Scottish frost, I could fly myself back to southern Spain and thaw my butt under the Spanish sun.  Weekend trips to Scotland and returning to Malaga/home?  Never in my wildest dreams!
